Are you feeling overwhelmed?
Are your thoughts predominately negative and self-critical?
Are you experiencing low motivation?
Is your mood low at the moment?
Do the simplest of tasks feel like too much for you at the moment?
Are you experiencing panic attacks?
Do you feel that you can’t talk to family and friends as they all have their own things going on?
Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental and above all empathetic space to talk about whatever is going on for you at the moment and to begin your journey towards growth and healing.
As a person-centred therapist I work with clients holistically considering the emotional, physical and psychological needs of the person. I believe that clients have the innate ability to heal and to grow.
As an Integrative therapist I draw on various modalities and techniques when working collaboratively with clients. I often use Person-Centred, Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Techniques in combination with mindfulness.
By using a trauma-informed approach I aim to ensure that clients feel physically and emotionally safe within the therapy sessions. I am conscious that client may have a trauma history and aim to be sensitive to any triggers for the client.
